Therapist (In Training)
TIERA!
Hi, I'm
I’m Tiera Stevens (She/Her)! I’m an African American woman based in Richmond, VA! I believe therapy should be a space where warmth meets energy. I bring a compassionate and active approach to supporting you as you navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and hardships.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, parents, and college students in almost every setting imaginable; from schools and hospitals to tele-health and community agencies. If you’re feeling weighed down by the stressors of work, school, or your relationships, I’m here to help. Together, we’ll work on building adaptive coping skills, setting healthy boundaries, and finding effective ways to communicate your needs so you can feel grounded, empowered, and ready for your daily life.

When I’m not in the office, I’m usually resetting and recharging. For me, that looks like getting lost in a complex LEGO set, going for a bike ride, practicing yoga, or settling in for a good horror thriller."
Please give me a call or email if you are interested in setting up services, or if you would like to learn more.
** Please note that I am an MSW Supervisee in social work! Lenise Mazyck, LCSW is my supervisor for my clinical hours! If you have any questions about what this means, please reach out to us**
